Strength in Remembering

Strength in Remembering
September 20 - 26
“Do not be afraid, you who are highly esteemed,” he said. “Peace! Be strong now; be strong.” When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Speak, my lord, since you have given me strength.” (Daniel 10:19)
Devotional: There is nothing like a special feeling or emotion that brings happiness to one’s life; possibly a marriage, a birth of your first child, a new career, etc. These are days that we, most likely, will never forget. One special day that I fail to mention is when you or I gave my life to the Lord, Jesus Christ and the overwhelming joy that fill my heart and my soul. With so many problems and issues all around us during this season, every now and then, just think back to that wonderful time when Jesus came into your heart to save you and know He’s ever-present with you always!
Prayer: Father, when the pressures of life seek to steal our contentment, remind us of Your great love for us in that Jesus died for you and for me. Help us to worship you despite our situation and circumstances because we know that You alone are worthy and there is none like You, in Christ Jesus name I pray, Amen!
Reflection Question: What do you remember about the day in which you gave your life to Jesus Christ?
