The Power of My God

“The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.” (Psalm 9:9)
Devotional: Beloved, learning to trust God is easier said than done. There are times when we say we trust Him, yet our reactions reflect something else. Regardless of where you are in terms of your spiritual maturity, total dependence on God takes time as we must grow in Him through His Word. Furthermore, when trouble comes our way and there is no one to helps us or to advise us, we as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, must discover that God is truly our refuge and He is our strength. My friends, life’s circumstances have a way of letting us know that He is truly our stronghold and He is our deliverer!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank you that we can rely on You when things are cloudy in our lives and we give you praise for reminding us each day that You are trustworthy. We thank you for the opportunity to allow us to grow in You and depend on Your inner strength for our lives; we love you in the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen!!!
