My Thirst Is Quenched By His Love
August 9 - 15
"The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.." (Isaiah 58:11)
Devotional: During the past few weeks, we have seen record temperatures well over 100 degrees each day and soaring to numbers that are mind blowing . In the midst of all this, we are reminded in this verse that God is able to guide us through unbearable times. Furthermore, our Lord will strengthen us because His grace is like an everlasting water sprinkler that showers us with His love!
Prayer: Eternal and Majestic Father, we worship you and give you glory, honor, and praise for being our Rock in a weary land. Thank you for your protection and your provision during these extremely hot days physically but also being our shield and covering emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Now Lord, remind us to never give up or never give in and put us in a place where we can feel your presence falling fresh on us each day; for you are a God who never fails, in the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen and Amen!
